Masjid Building & Maintenance

Constructing the Pillars of the Community

A Masjid is the heart of a Muslim community, but in many remote and impoverished areas, these sacred spaces are often in a state of severe disrepair. From leaking roofs and crumbling walls to a total lack of basic facilities like Wudu areas, many worshippers are forced to pray in environments that are neither safe nor dignified. Furthermore, as populations grow, many small Masajid can no longer accommodate the number of people seeking to join the congregational prayers.

At Haidury Education & Welfare Trust, our Masjid Building & Maintenance programme is dedicated to reviving these houses of Allah. We provide structural grants to repair existing Masajid and construction grants to build new ones where none exist. By creating a sturdy, beautiful, and clean environment for worship, we help strengthen the spiritual and social fabric of the entire neighborhood.

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”

Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 450
