Dignity in Final Farewells
The loss of a loved one is a time of immense emotional pain. For families living in poverty, this grief is often compounded by the sudden and overwhelming cost of funeral rites, burial expenses. No family should have to struggle to provide a dignified Islamic burial for their departed relatives.
At Haidury Education & Welfare Trust, we believe in honoring the sanctity of life from beginning to end. Through our Bereavement Support programme, we provide practical and financial grants to ensure that every member of our community receives a respectful and Sunnah-compliant burial, regardless of their financial status.
“A Muslim has five rights upon another Muslim: returning the greeting, visiting the sick, following the funeral procession, accepting an invitation, and responding to the one who sneezes.”
Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 1240
