Fulfil Your Obligation With Care
Islam is a religion of mercy and ease. When a person is unable to fast due to valid reasons, provisions are made to ensure no obligation is left unfulfilled.
Fidya and Kaffarah allow you to compensate for missed or broken fasts in accordance with Islamic guidance.
By fulfilling this responsibility, you not only complete your duty but also provide food and relief to families in need.
Fidya For Those Unable to Fast
Fidya is required for individuals who are permanently unable to fast due to chronic illness, old age, or a condition that makes fasting medically unsafe.
For each missed fast, a set amount is given to feed a person in need.
Your Fidya donation is used to provide meals or food support to vulnerable families in Pakistan, ensuring they receive nourishment while you fulfil your obligation.
If your condition improves and you later become able to fast, you should make up the missed fasts instead.
For Breaking a Fast Without Valid Reason
Kaffarah applies when a person deliberately breaks a fast in Ramadan without a valid excuse.
The expiation requires either:
- Fasting for 60 consecutive days
- OR
- Feeding 60 needy people
If fasting 60 consecutive days is not possible, feeding those in need becomes the obligation.
Your Kaffarah donation helps provide essential food to vulnerable families who struggle to afford basic meals.
Fulfil Your Responsibility Today
Fidya and Kaffarah are acts of accountability and compassion.
While you complete your religious duty, a struggling family receives food and relief.
Give your Fidya or Kaffarah through a trusted UK-registered charity and ensure it reaches eligible recipients in Pakistan.
