Trustees & Governance

Ensuring Integrity, Accountability, and Transparency in Every Step

The Haidury Education & Welfare Trust is a registered charity in England and Wales (Registered Charity No: 1151304). Our work is built on the trust of our donors and the hopes of our beneficiaries. To honor both, we maintain a robust governance structure that ensures every penny is accounted for and every project is delivered to the highest ethical and legal standards.

THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees who serve as the legal guardians of the charity’s mission. They are responsible for the strategic direction, financial health, and legal compliance of the organization.

Voluntary Service (Zero Remuneration)

In accordance with Charity Commission records, our trustees receive zero salary, payment, or benefit for their work. They provide their time and professional expertise on a purely voluntary basis, ensuring that maximum funds reach our frontline projects.

Strategic Oversight

The Board meets regularly to review project progress, approve budgets, and ensure that all activities strictly align with our charitable objects: the prevention of poverty, the advancement of education, and the relief of those in need.

Conflict of Interest

We maintain a strict Conflict of Interest policy. All trustee decisions are made solely in the best interests of the charity and its beneficiaries, free from any personal or external influence.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY & UK COMPLIANCE

Transparency is the cornerstone of our relationship with our donors. We maintain rigorous financial controls in line with the Charity Commission’s Essential Trustee (CC3) guidelines.

Annual Reporting

Our financial accounts are prepared, independently examined, and submitted annually to the Charity Commission for England and Wales. These reports are a matter of public record.

Designated Funding

We operate a strict policy regarding restricted funds. When you donate to a specific cause—such as a Water Well, Orphan Sponsorship, or Palestine Emergency Relief—your donation is "ring-fenced" to be spent only on that specific project.

INTERNATIONAL OVERSIGHT & FIELD AUDITS

Our commitment to transparency extends across borders. Because we operate in challenging environments, we have implemented a multi-layered oversight system
Field Verification

We do not simply transfer funds; we monitor their impact. For every project, our teams and partners on the ground must provide detailed expenditure reports, photographic evidence of milestones, and verified receipts for local procurement.

Direct Monitoring
Regular audits are conducted to ensure that infrastructure projects (like the Jamia Islamia Nazeeria or water wells) meet our quality standards and safety regulations.
Local Partnership Integrity
We only collaborate with local NGOs and teams that share our values of integrity and high-impact delivery.
